Art and design undergraduate exhibition to be featured in Ringel Gallery

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A juried art show highlighting works from undergraduate students in Purdue University’s Department of Art and Design will open on Monday (Feb. 24) in Purdue University Galleries’ Robert L. Ringel Gallery in the Stewart Center.

The show runs through March 13. 

All undergraduate students enrolled in art and design classes in the Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Design, Art, and Performance were invited to submit work to this juried show, with selections made by faculty in art and design. The Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Design, Art, and Performance is home to degrees in industrial design, interior design, visual communications design, art education, art history, integrated studio arts, and studio arts and technology.

Students were eligible to submit work in all media and the exhibition will feature drawings, paintings, prints, graphic designs, sculpture, jewelry, furniture, photography, video and more.

A reception and awards ceremony will be hosted in the Ringel Gallery from 5:30-7 p.m. on Feb. 28.

The Robert L. Ringel Gallery is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays. All Purdue Galleries exhibitions and events are free and open to the public.
