Appointments, honors and activities
- Pam Karagory, a clinical associate professor and interim head of the College of Health and Human Sciences’ School of Nursing, recently was elected a fellow by the National League for Nursing Academy of Nursing Education.
- A.J. Schwichtenberg, associate professor in the College of Health and Human Sciences’ Department of Human Development and Family Studies and co-founder of the Purdue Autism Research Center, recently assisted with a video series for the Bolivian Autism Project. Schwichtenberg’s video, “Sleep and ASD,” is one of 26 videos used to provide support for Spanish-speaking professionals working with individuals with autism in Bolivia and beyond.
Alumni honors:
- Venu Srinivasan, a 1977 graduate of Krannert School of Management’s Master of Science in marketing program and a 2014 honorary doctorate recipient, has been awarded the 2019 Deming Distinguished Service Award for Dissemination and Promotion. Srinivasan is chairman and managing director of TVS Motor Company Limited and Sundaram-Clayton Limited.
