U.S. Secretary of Labor Acosta to Discuss Industry-Recognized Apprenticeship Programs and Pledge to America’s Workers During Visit To Indiana

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta will travel to West Lafayette, Indiana, to discuss the award of a $12 million grant to Purdue University to expand apprenticeship opportunities for information technology. Secretary Acosta will join a roundtable and tour of the Purdue University Cyber Forensics Lab, before taking part in a media availability with Purdue University leaders. Secretary Acosta will then travel to Burns Harbor, Indiana, for a tour of ArcelorMittal and to join them as they sign the Pledge to America’s Workers.
