Los Angeles Guitar Quartet to perform at Purdue on Sept. 29
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet will perform at 3 p.m. Sept. 29 in Stewart Center’s Loeb Playhouse on the campus of Purdue University. This performance is presented by Purdue Convocations with support from Westminster Village and Friends of Convos Endowment.
At 2 p.m. Los Angeles Guitar Quartet member Bill Kanengiser, and composer, jazz pianist and music educator Judd Danby, will have a discussion before the afternoon’s performance.
Since 1980, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet has embraced a diverse, adventurous spirit, infusing new vigor into canonical classics while bridging classical, jazz, rock and pop in contemporary explorations.
Tickets are $28 for adults and $22 for children 18 years and younger, Purdue students and Ivy Tech Lafayette students. Initiated in 1902, Purdue Convocations was one of the first professional performing arts presenters in the United States.
