Appointments, honors and activities
- Fabio Ribeiro, the R. Norris and Eleanor Shreve Professor of Chemical Engineering, and director of CISTAR, has been selected to receive the 2019 Giuseppe Parravano Memorial Award for Excellence in Catalysis Research. He was to receive the award during the 40th annual Michigan Catalysis Society Spring Symposium on May 7 at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. More information can be found here.
- Christopher Uyeda, an assistant professor of chemistry, has been selected as a 2019 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar, an award presented by The Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation, which honors emerging young faculty in the chemical sciences. The faculty selected have each created an outstanding independent body of scholarship and are deeply committed to education, according to the foundation.
