Weather cancels Saturday events for 29th annual Purdue Jazz Fest; noon free concert still on

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Due to projected inclement weather, the Purdue Jazz Festival events originally scheduled for Saturday (Jan. 19) have been canceled. These events will not be rescheduled. 

However, jazz fans may still attend a free concert at noon on Saturday at Loeb Playhouse featuring the Purdue Jazz Band along with guest artists Brian Lynch, Roxy Coss and Jarrard Harris. The Friday (Jan. 18) performance by Stefon Harris & Blackout at 8 p.m. at Stewart Center’s Loeb Playhouse will continue as scheduled.

Tickets are required for the Friday night concert and can be purchased through Purdue Convocations: www.purdue.edu/convocations/event/stefon-harris-and-blackout/

Purdue Bands & Orchestras will celebrate the 30th Annual Purdue Jazz Festival next year on Jan. 16-18, 2020.
