Health & Kinesiology students present Fit & Fun Night for kids
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — An evening of fun physical activities and games for children in second to sixth grade will take place on Feb. 17 in Lambert Field House. Fit & Fun Night is presented by students from various Health and Kinesiology classes in conjunction with Purdue’s Health and Kinesiology Club.
From 6-9 p.m., kids will participate in games including basketball, Sharbade, indoor soccer, cup stacking, cornhole and parachute activities with their peers under the guidance of Purdue students and staff. Participants will be served dinner of pizza with apples, bananas, carrots, celery, pretzels and water.
Preregistration is $8 and day-of registration is $10. Preregistration closes at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 15). For pre-registration, go to https://goo.gl/TgdnYG and follow these directions: Click the “Organizations” tab. In the search tab, search “Health & Kinesiology Majors”. Click the link, and there you will find the link to the “Fit & Fun Night Registration” form. You will create a “TooCool” account to complete the checkout.
On the day of Fit & Fun Night, registration will begin at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:10 p.m. Parents should accompany their children to the second-floor gym in order to sign a release form.
