Purdue to announce new Discovery Park Institute

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – On Thursday (Dec. 1), Purdue will announce the creation of a new institute at the university’s Discovery Park.

The media availability will be held at 8:15 a.m. at the Buchanan Level (fifth floor) of Ross-Ade Stadium, 850 Steven Beering Drive, West Lafayette. The interim director of the new institute, who will be announced at the event, will be available for interviews as will Tomás Díaz de la Rubia, chief scientist and executive director, Purdue Discovery Park.

 The announcement will be held during a daylong symposium at Purdue featuring a variety of national experts speaking on global security and defense innovation issues.
