Parking established for Monday (June 6) funeral at campus church

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – A section of Marsteller Street will be closed to regular traffic throughout the day on Monday (June 6) as funeral services are held for West Lafayette High School student Christian Thomas Burns.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by the service, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church near Purdue University’s campus. Motorists should be aware of additional traffic in the area.

On Friday (June 3) "No parking" signs were being posted on both sides of Marsteller from Harrison to State streets. The road section will be closed from early morning Monday until as late as 4 p.m.

Overflow parking for the service will be on Oval Drive. Additionally, the gates will be lifted at the Grant Street Parking Garage on campus.
