Student honors:

- To coincide with National Student Employment Week, which was April 10-16, two Purdue Dining & Catering student employees were selected for awards from the Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrators. Avery Sameshima, student manager at Harrison Grille, was selected as the Student Employee of the Year for the state of Indiana. Kristin Bischoff, student manager at Cary Knight Spot Grill, was selected as both the Student Employment Supervisor of the year for the state of Indiana and the Student Employment Supervisor of the year for the 14-state MASEA Region. Both students receive certificates for their efforts, and a cash award. The MASEA awards are coordinated in conjunction with efforts by the National Student Employment Association to recognize outstanding contributions and achievements of students who work while attending college.
