Purdue Extension co-sponsoring Ohio Valley Small Farm Conference

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Agriculture industry experts and educators from the Purdue University and University of Kentucky Extension services will lead informational sessions at the Ohio Valley Small Farm Conference March 12 in Henderson, Kentucky.

Current, beginning and prospective operators of small farms will learn how to plan for new ventures, improve profitability, diversify their business and reduce the environmental impacts of their operations.

Topics include livestock production, fruit and vegetable management, aquaculture, pest control, food safety and ag marketing.

The conference runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. CST at the Henderson County Extension office, 3341 Zion Road.

Registration is $10 per person before Monday (March 7) or $15 at the door. The registration form is available at https://extension.purdue.edu/warrick/pages/article.aspx?intItemID=12610.
