Extension workshop addresses farm financial management

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Farm managers and producers are invited to attend a Purdue Extension workshop on making informed financial decisions in a challenging economic environment.

Speakers for “Managing for 2016 and Beyond” are Jim Mintert, Extension agricultural economist, and Bob Nielsen, Extension corn specialist. Mintert will offer guidance on making cash rent decisions, and Nielsen will discuss managing crop inputs while maintaining yields.

Sessions will be held throughout southern Indiana. The schedule:

The workshop is free, but registration is required by March 1.
