• Faculty and staff honors:
- Larry Caplan, horticulture educator with the Purdue Extension Service in Vanderburgh County, recently earned the International Society of Arboriculture Tree Risk Assessment Qualification credential by successfully completing the course and passing the exam administered by the ISA. The program is designed to increase the standard of practice and safety in the tree care industry. Caplan has been employed with the Purdue Extension Service in Vanderburgh County since 1986. His Tree Risk Assessment Qualification is added to his ISA Certified Arborist certification, which he has held since 1997. He is also an Indiana Accredited Horticulturist through the Indiana Nursery and Landscape Association.
