Ten technology alumni to be honored

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Ten graduates of Purdue University's College of Technology will be recognized during two 2015 award ceremonies Friday, April 17.
The awards are presented to alumni who have harnessed the power of their Purdue degrees to positively impact their chosen professions and have changed how today's technology will improve the world tomorrow. They have enjoyed professional, philanthropic, and personal successes.
Distinguished Technology Alumni Award recipients include: Stephanie Morgan Grieger, Sugar Land, Texas; Jim F. Keppler, Stevensville, Michigan; Claude E. Powers, Merrillville, Indiana; and Kristie West, Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Outstanding Technology Alumni Award recipient is Jay M. Parks, Cordova, Tennessee.
Early Career Award recipients include: Troy Davis, Bellevue, Washington.; Norman Moses Joseph, Burbank, California; Adam J. Miller, Royal Oak, Michigan; Eric Milligan, Santa Barbara, California; and Aaron Van Schyndel, San Francisco, California.
Distinguished Technology Alumni Award recipients are:
* Stephanie Grieger, global change manager for ExxonMobil. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in computer and information technology from Purdue in 1986.
* Jim Keppler, vice president for integrated supply chain and quality for Whirlpool Corp. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering technology from Purdue in 1989.
* Claude Powers, president and COO of Powers and Sons Construction Co. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in building construction from Purdue in 1980.
* Kristie West, supply chain growth playbook leader for General Electric Aviation. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in organizational leadership and supervision from Purdue in 1997.
