Daniels speaks before Congress on national infrastructure challenges

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue President Mitch Daniels testified on June 25 before the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance, emphasizing the need for quicker and more cost-effective approaches to infrastructure improvement projects. He touted the benefits of public-private partnerships and regulatory efficiency when approving and completing such projects.

Daniels was joined by Shailen Bhatt, executive director of the Colorado Department of Transportation; David Narefsky, a partner and co-leader for the Infrastructure Practice Group; and Baruch Feigenbaum, assistant director of transportation policy for the Reason Foundation.
