Tornado awareness sessions scheduled

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue’s Office of Environmental Health and Public Safety is offering tornado awareness sessions in April focused on awareness strategies, responsive actions and things to do after a tornado.

Tom Cooper, Purdue fire safety specialist, will lead the sessions, which are scheduled for 9-10 a.m. on April 1, 8 and 15. Any of the sessions are open to the Purdue community.

The training will take place in the TERY Conference Room at the Purdue Police Department, 205 S. Martin Jischke Drive. To register, contact Mary Stair at 765-494-1424.
