Appointments, honors and activities

- Carl Krieger has joined the Purdue University Residences as director of Residential Life. Krieger takes over a department that serves 14 residence halls and two apartment complexes, with a new Honors Residential college scheduled to open in 2016. Krieger previously was assistant director of Housing and Residence Life at Virginia Tech University, which has a residential area of approximately 3,000 undergraduate students in a variety of facilities including an Honors Residential College, which was the first of its kind at Virginia Tech. Prior to his tenure at Virginia Tech, Krieger served at Duke University and Radford University.
