Purdue Research Park-based Imaginestics receives 'Most Innovative' company award

July 8, 2014

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Imaginestics LLC, whose technology enables manufacturers to search online for products by shape, was named "Most Innovative" company in the 2014 Startup Focus Awards at the SAPPHIRE NOW 2014 conference.

CEO Nainesh Rathod, a Purdue University alumnus, said Imaginestics is participating in the Startup Focus Program by SAP, a multinational software corporation, which was one of the requirements to be eligible for an award.

"A company also must have an application on SAP HANA, which converges database and application platform capabilities," Rathod said. "Imaginestics was selected among five companies that were nominated as most innovative.

"My colleagues and I are humbled by this recognition. Imaginestics doesn't aim to be innovative for innovation's sake, though. Our goal always is to meet our customers' needs in the most efficient, reliable manner possible."

Rathod said Imaginestics will participate in the SAP Big Data Tour at the Farnborough International Airshow 2014 in Farnborough, Hampshire, England from July 14-16.

"The Farnborough International Airshow is one of the largest exhibitions and air displays in the world," he said. "We are glad to join the SAP Big Data Tour at this event that encourages exceptional connections in the international aerospace industry."

Imaginestics' technology includes VizSeek®, a visual shape search engine, and VizSpace, an online marketplace that connects buyers' requirements with industrial suppliers' capabilities. The company is based in the Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette.
