Purdue College of Technology to celebrate Tech Week 2014

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University’s College of Technology will celebrate the eighth annual Tech Week from Feb. 22-28.

The week begins with a College of Technology team competing in the annual Rube Goldberg competition on Saturday (Feb. 22) and concludes with two events honoring successful alumni. The theme for the week, which mirrors the college’s 50th anniversary theme, is “Imagine. Create. Experience.”

The week’s events include: a public screening of the movie “Jobs;” Tech Week Day of Service for technology students; College of Technology Career Fair; a luncheon for graduating seniors; awards ceremonies for 2014 distinguished technology alumni, outstanding technology alumni, and early career awards.
