Wasatch Photonics hires director of product management and marketing

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., LOGAN, Utah, DURHAM, N.C. - Nishant Mohan, Ph.D., has joined Wasatch Photonics Inc. as its director of product management and marketing.
Mohan will develop and commercialize the next generation of the company's optical coherence tomography spectrometers and systems. He previously had been in research and development at Bausch + Lomb in Rochester, N.Y.
Mike Sullivan, general manager of Wasatch Photonics, said Mohan has more than a decade of experience with optical coherence tomography.
"Nishant played a pioneering role in employing the technology for novel applications ranging from blood flow estimation to contact lens imaging. His experience in academia and industry gives him an overarching perspective on this market," he said. "Nishant's technical and managerial expertise will help our company accelerate its product line."
Mohan said joining Wasatch Photonics will allow him to work on all aspects of his background in optical coherence tomography.
