Korean Culture Day set for Feb. 15 at Purdue's Stewart Center

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue Korean Association on Feb 15 will host a free celebration featuring Korean-themed art, food, music, dance and other activities.

Korean Culture Day events, which will take place in Stewart Center's Fowler Hall, include a Korean film screening (2-4:30 p.m.), a lecture (4:30-5:30 p.m.) and a traditional dance performance (6:30-8:30 p.m.). Other events are scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Stewart Center's second floor and include a Korean folk museum and folk games.

The Purdue Korean Association is a student organization that represents approximately 600 undergraduate and 400 graduate students as well as Korean professors and families at Purdue and in Greater Lafayette.

Korean associations from Indiana University, the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and Ball State University are helping the Purdue association with the event.
