Workshop planned on energy management standards
December 4, 2012
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University's Manufacturing Extension Partnership will offer a workshop Dec. 13 in Indianapolis on implementing the ISO 5000I international energy management standard.
Participants will learn about how the ISO 5000I Energy Management System Standard will drive continual improvement in energy performance and improve a company's bottom line by reducing energy consumption and costs. One benefit of implementing ISO 50001 is that the energy management knowledge gained will help companies be better prepared for potential future regulations of greenhouse gas emissions.
The workshop will be from 8 a.m. to noon in Intech Park. Cost is $99 per person.
