Possible charges pending in Hawkins Hall voyeurism incidents

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University police have identified a student allegedly involved in recently reported voyeurism incidents in Hawkins Residence Hall.

Hojune Lee, 20, a sophomore in undergraduate studies from South Korea and a resident of Hawkins Hall, was questioned by Purdue police investigators on Friday (Dec. 21). The matter has been turned over to the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor's Office for review and formal charges.

Police received reports on Dec. 9 and early Friday (Dec. 21) of a male student stepping into an eighth-floor bathroom while females were showering. A Purdue police investigation led to Lee.

The Purdue Office of the Dean of Students also will review the case for possible disciplinary action.
