Biological Sciences administrative assistant team

Biological Sciences administrative assistant team: During the craziness of the last nine months this relatively new group of individuals has come together to master new skills and provide a new way to adequately support the Biological Sciences staff and faculty. The challenge to quickly learn the ins and outs of Brightspace, WebEx, Zoom and Kaltura, and then train their respective faculty members on how to use these programs became a top priority. Additionally, a new protocol was followed of handling those areas we often think “just happen” such as mail and package delivery, inventory and supply ordering, and even the simplest of tasks, making sure copiers were filled with paper. What could have been a totally overwhelming situation was handled with optimism and communication. The team -- Tara Baunach, Kim Burns, Becky Harding, Amber Kelly, Kim Peterson and Tracy Reifel -- strategized on how to make things better for all on a weekly basis and then followed through. It is a privilege to work alongside the Biological Sciences administrative assistant team.
