Thomas Klose

Thomas Klose (Biological Sciences): Thomas Klose is the technical director of Purdue Cryo-EM Facility. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he and the facility staff, Manali Ghosh and Frank Vago, have devoted extraordinary efforts, despite hard family challenges, to keep the Cryo-EM Facility operational during the pandemic, providing essential data collection services to many projects including projects directly associated with the fights against COVID-19. Furthermore, the facility has worked with the vendor engineers to install another top-of-the-line cryo-TEM Titan Krios G4 to expand the service capability and quality. -- Wen Jiang (Biological Sciences)
