Protect Purdue team, BGR students, Purdue police and staff

Protect Purdue team, BGR students, Purdue police and staff: As a staff member, I know all about Protect Purdue plans. As a parent of an incoming freshman (first to leave the nest), I got to see that plan in action and was extremely impressed. Check-in went so smoothly. We went to the Discovery Park parking lot, had our temps taken, received information at several stops along the way, got checked in and headed to Shreve Hall. It was so well-organized and efficient. Whoever came up with that plan did a great job, and the volunteers that were out there were wonderful, too. Also, I want to give a shout-out to all the BGR students. They made moving in easy, and I appreciate everything they do to help our freshmen find their way around campus. My son's BGR representative emailed all of his students and invited them to dinner starting on Friday. My son was able to meet someone right away, and I was able to breathe a sigh of relief. Thanks everyone, for everything you do! Boiler Up! 2020 will be different but memorable. -- Rhonda Haan (Global Engineering Programs and Partnerships)
