Joan Fulton

Joan Fulton (Agricultural Economics): Thanks to Joan, who in support of the Food Finders Food Bank in Lafayette put out a challenge to her department. She set it up as a silent auction and had people email their bids for up to 10 unique, handmade masks with the money going to Food Finders. Her offer really took off. Joan received bids for 27 masks corresponding to pledges of $3,141 in donations! Further, when Joan completes those she will return to making masks for nursing homes, hospitals, etc., as she has been doing. And she has shared her pattern and special guidance with many others who are joining this sewing project to help keep our community safe. – Natalie Carroll (Youth Development and Agricultural Education)
