Lindsay Elias and Aurie Swartz

Lindsay Elias and Aurie Swartz (both Office of Future Engineers): Lindsay, Aurie, and their staff of 20+ students work out of a very innovative space solution in the ARMS atrium. I visit them often to get a pulse on the FAQ from our visiting parents, families and students, to adjust our print and digital marketing pieces accordingly. I want to commend them for their Purdue pride and flexibility as they answer every question with patience and accuracy to make sure that everyone who visits has the best Purdue experience possible. Their student employees have learned so much under their tutelage, from professional development to what it is like to start and stop projects while helping customers with an extreme level of accuracy. I think that their students are lucky to have this opportunity to develop and learn under them as it provides just one example of what a real-world internship/job can be like when we are asked to wear many hats. -- Heather Coar (Office of Future Engineers, Women in Engineering Program and Minority Engineering Program)
