Editor's note: Since 2010, Purdue Today has invited faculty and staff to recognize the good work of others on campus through its weekly "Thumbs Up" feature. The newsletter periodically will publish an expanded version of this popular feature in an effort to further call attention to employees' excellent work.
Ben Paolillo, senior director of alumni clubs for the Purdue Alumni Association, recognizes Cindy Robertson, alumni clubs assistant, for her thoroughness and commitment to helping alumni volunteers.
Paolillo writes:
"Cindy is on the front line in helping to provide our alumni volunteers with the items necessary to carry out their duties. Not only does she fulfill requests for Purdue-branded items to put out at events, she also processes information to help develop emails and postcards related to event promotion.
"More importantly, her 15-plus years of experience on the job have provided her with connections and history with hundreds of volunteers, and this helps make Dauch Alumni Center a welcoming place for leaders returning to campus. Cindy is a great ambassador for the alumni association and for Purdue!"
