Dennis Raney

Dennis Raney (Wiley Dining Court): Dennis Raney brought more than his knives and food to visit with the culinary students of Twin Lakes High School last week. He discussed his experiences on the cooking circuit, while teaching the students to use a French knife. He discussed work ethics and the difference between TV reality cooking shows and cooking as a “real life chef.” He talked about creative thinking and multitasking, and shared Thai food with these students. Dennis revealed a part of Purdue to these students that many were unaware existed. What an innovative, intentional way to market the culinary profession and Purdue. Kudos, Dennis! Thank you for being a trendsetter! -- Wiley Dining Court staff
