Pam White (Media Instructional and Information Technology, College of Veterinary Medicine): When we discovered less than an hour before a scheduled PhD committee meeting with two separate National Institutes of Health that videoconferencing arrangements had not been made, Pam White and MIIT staff saved the day. Even though Pam was on her lunch hour when the distress call was placed, the video equipment was up and running with 10 minutes to spare. This was not the first time Pam has bailed me out. Even though I have become semi-literate in Blackboard Learn thanks to her instruction, I make mistakes, often quite late in the evening. Every day, she makes our teaching better and our lives easier.
