Butler Center to host Support Circle Drop-In on March 15

The Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence is inviting faculty, staff and students to a Support Circle Drop-In at noon-1:30 pm. March 15.

This drop-in session is for sharing and reflecting on this past year. The center describes the session focus as the following: COVID-19 has changed all of our lives since March 2020. We also have been witness to movements for racial justice, social justice, and economic justice. These world events have impacted us differently and radically. Rarely do we have a moment to reflect, pause and share.

The Support Circle started in August 2020 to promote a culture of care on campus. The aim is to cultivate a space where faculty can share and discuss aspects about well-being. Such a support mechanism is much needed for all on campus particularly in the wake of the pandemic and the strain and pressure being felt by all, especially faculty of color, says Mangala Subramaniam, professor and director of the Butler Center.

Registration for the Support Circle Drop-in is available online. For more information, contact butlercenter@purdue.edu.
