Proposals being accepted for Purdue Global Village conference

The 13th annual Purdue Global Village conference is accepting proposals for its annual professional development event. The event, presented by the Center for Teaching and Learning at Purdue University Global, will take place virtually Nov. 9-13.

The deadline to submit proposals is 11:59 p.m. ET July 26. All Purdue faculty, staff, administrators and students are invited to participate.

The conference seeks to provide a forum for collaborative professional development to foster diversity and enhance student learning. The theme for the conference this year is “Educating the Future.” The conference’s five pillars, developed by the Center for Teaching and Learning, serve also as the conference tracks: Classroom Foundations, Leadership and Organization, NextGen Learning, Scholarship and Student Focus. More information and the Call for Proposals can be found on the Purdue Global Village website.

Four different types of proposals will be accepted this year:

  • Live presentation.
  • Poster presentation.
  • Poster with audio presentation.
  • Podcast session.

All accepted poster presentations and podcast sessions will have the opportunity to take part in an optional Conference Exhibit Hall to share more information in a live format.
