Healthy Boiler workshop to focus on breathing exercises; register by Sunday

The Center for Healthy Living (CHL) on Purdue’s West Lafayette campus is hosting a Healthy Boiler workshop on breathing exercises from 12:20 to 12:50 p.m. Monday (March 9) in Stewart Center, Room 311.

The interactive workshop, led by Amanda Hathcock, employee assistance counselor at CHL, will explore some of the science behind the benefits of breathing for relaxation as well as some strategies for deep breathing. The workshop supports the behavioral health and physical health pillars of the Healthy Boiler Program.

Individuals interested in attending should register by Sunday (March 8) via the Healthy Boiler Portal. Registration links can be found under the “Engage” tab, “Wellness Events” on the portal’s homepage.

Healthy Boiler workshops are free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff and dependents covered on a Purdue medical plan. Any questions about can be directed to the Center for Healthy Living at 765-494-0111.
