Department of Nutrition Science to host spring cooking classes
The Department of Nutrition Science this spring is offering hands-on cooking classes for participants to learn new cooking skills and enjoy fresh delicious food.
All classes are interactive and include instruction, hands-on cooking, tasting of all recipes and a recipe booklet to take home.
Classes scheduled for this spring, all on Wednesdays:
* Feb. 12: Date Night Done Right
* Feb. 26: Crazy ‘Pho’ Asian Cuisine
* March 11: Quick Rotisserie Chicken Meals
* March 25: Speedy Meals
* April 8: Bake It ’Til You Make It
* April 22: Menu Mexicano
Participants must be 18 or older to attend a cooking workshop. Classes will be held 5:30-7 p.m. in Lyles-Porter Hall Demonstration Kitchen, Room 1107. Parking is available on the street or in the Harrison Street Parking Garage. For two hours, parking in the garage is $4.
