Deadline to complete employee engagement survey is today

Staff, including continuing lecturers, on the West Lafayette, Fort Wayne and Northwest campuses have until 5 p.m. ET today (Feb. 5) to participate in an employee engagement survey. The survey invites these employees to share their opinion about Purdue as a workplace as well as about what is most important to them. The survey does not include faculty.

Human Resources has partnered with a third-party vendor, Emplify, to conduct the survey, and once the results are in, data will be shared, as will recommendations for an action plan.

“Our hope is to get honest feedback to better create an environment where our employees can thrive and perform their best,” says Bill Bell, vice president for human resources.

Employees may access the survey through a link in the email invitiation sent by Emplify this week. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete, and responses will go directly to Emplify, so employees can be assured of confidentiality.

The survey will run through today and will be available to take on a computer or on a mobile device. Open labs also will be available to increase access and provide assistance. Employees will need to provide their PUID when using a lab. Individuals requiring specific assistance or additional accommodations in order to fully participate in the survey should contact:
