Early voting available on campus; election information listed

Early voting in the municipal elections has begun in Tippecanoe County. The various locations include Purdue's Krach Leadership Center, in the first floor lobby, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday (Oct. 25). Other locations are available on other dates.

On Election Day, Nov. 5, voting locations will operate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The on-campus location for that day will be Purdue Memorial Union, Room 118.

Voters should be sure to carry appropriate ID such as an Indiana driver's license or federal ID with photo. Photo IDs from other states do not qualify for voting purposes under Indiana law.

Students registered to vote in Tippecanoe County may use their Purdue ID as long as it has a printed expiration date on the front. Students also may use an Indiana driver’s license, a U.S. passport, a military ID or a free Indiana ID card from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Students wanting to trade in their current Purdue identifications for cards with an expiration date will be able to do so for free this week only, Oct. 21-25.

Municipal elections are being held for voters who live within the cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette and the towns of Dayton and Battle Ground.
