Don't Miss It!

scene from ‘Christmas at Pemberly’ Purdue Theatre’s “Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberly”

Yes, it’s November, but for Purdue Theatre audiences, it’s “Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberly.” And the story itself, a stage sequel to “Pride and Prejudice,” is about daring to look ahead with anticipation, as bookish sister Mary meets a male holiday guest who shares her reading interests. At Purdue, it’s more broadly a week of forward vision as stages welcome young musicians including piano competition winner Yi-Nuo Wang, as well as the Black Voices of Inspiration ensemble performing with the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra. It’s never too soon on the calendar to celebrate heart and hope. Don’t Miss It!
