Cooking demonstrations for Purdue faculty, staff and students

Cooking demonstrations will be held this summer in the Demonstration Kitchen at the Córdova Recreational Sports Center.

The demonstrations will be held 6-7 p.m. in the Demonstration Kitchen. Free parking is available after 5 p.m. in the Co-Rec parking lot. The cost for the demonstration is $10. Participants will be given the opportunity to assist in the cooking experience, sample four to five delicious recipes, and take home recipe cards.

Registration for the cooking demonstration can be done at Member Services located in the center, known as the Co-Rec, or online.

The demonstrations to be featured are:

  • June 11: Breakfast of Champions.
  • June 26: Cooking with Quinoa.
  • July 11: Mediterranean Meals.
  • July 23: Super Salads.

The Demonstration Kitchen staff strives to make cooking accessible to everyone by demonstrating delicious recipes and menus that are quick, easy and affordable. They provide a variety of demonstrations and programs in order to accommodate varying interests, ages and abilities.
