Purdue Global to present online conference focused on teaching, innovation, presence
Faculty and staff are invited to register for the TIP 2018 Conference hosted by Purdue Global's College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. TIP stands for teaching, innovation and presence.
The online conference, which is set for Aug. 27-29, will address current and future trends in higher education, reflect innovative and cutting-edge content, and deliver research-based principles and practices. This year's theme is "Supporting Students Over Time: The 4 C's: Community, Commitment, Communication, Completion."
The keynote presenters are Betty Vandenbosch, chancellor of Purdue University Global; Frank Dooley, senior vice provost for teaching and learning at Purdue's West Lafayette campus; and David Starnes, chief academic officer at Purdue University Global. The full list of presenters is available here.
TIP 2018 also will feature a Student Showcase, where students will present on their research or scholarly activity individually, in a poster presentation or on a panel discussion. Additional details about the showcase are available here.
Registration may be completed online, and the registration deadline is Aug. 24. The TIP Conference is held in an online forum, and session URLs are included in the conference agenda.
