Finalists for dean of the College of Education to make on-campus presentations

Four finalists for dean of the College of Education will be on Purdue's West Lafayette campus for two-day interviews in February and March, the search committee announced today (Feb. 20).

Chris Ladisch, dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences and chair of the search committee, said that as part of the process, each finalist will make a 30-minute public presentation and then take questions from the audience.

"We have four excellent candidates,” Ladisch says. “I encourage faculty, staff and students to take this opportunity to hear from each of them."

Feedback on the candidates is requested, and an online tool will be provided on the candidate website at https://purdue.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_aaBWuAyyl0URGIZ. The link will be live after the first candidate's presentation.

Purdue's next dean of the College of Education will succeed Maryann Santos, who will step down from her deanship effective June 30.
