Conference on Research Integrity set for April 3-5

A nationwide conference examining plagiarism in research and its cultural roots, coming April 3-5, is designed to promote understanding and provide tools and resources for handling situations of concern. The event is designed for those with research and instructional interests around research ethics, research integrity, and responsible conduct of research.

“Plagiarism: Conference on the Identification, Processing, Prevention and Cultural Context of Plagiarism” is co-organized by Purdue's Research Integrity Office and by Indiana University’s Office of Research Compliance. Deborah Rupp, the William C. Byham Chair in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, is Purdue’s research integrity officer.

The conference will take place at the Alexander Hotel in Indianapolis with speakers from throughout the United States and beyond. Registration and an agenda are available at There is no registration fee.
