Boiler Success Team to host informational meeting Jan. 30

The Office of the Provost will announce a new initiative focused on undergraduate students known as the Boiler Success Team at a kickoff event to be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Jan. 30 in Fowler Hall in Stewart Center. Jay Akridge, provost and vice president for academic affairs and diversity, will lead the presentation. The event is free and open to the public.

The Boiler Success Team is a collaboration of individuals from across campus who bring diverse perspectives and a shared commitment to issues related to undergraduate student success. The program is open to all interested students, faculty and staff.

The team's goal is to bring attention and action to issues that drive the academic and career success of all Purdue undergraduate students, to provide opportunities for connecting with others across campus to learn about and discuss issues that cut across departmental lines, and to work on specific projects that team members have prioritized each year.
