Center for Healthy Living serves up healthy holiday recipes in exchange for food donations

As the winter holidays approach, the Center for Healthy Living wants to help employees keep tabs on their health and wellness. Therefore, the center is offering a healthy holiday recipes guide in exchange for any food donations brought in for the ACE Campus Food Pantry. Donations will be accepted through Dec. 22.

“It’s common for individuals to struggle with making healthy decisions this time of year, considering food is almost always a part of every holiday gathering,” said Jennifer Hodges, director of operations at the Center for Healthy Living. “We really like the ideas of collecting food donations for ACE Campus Food Pantry and in exchange providing our clients with a guide to healthy recipes they can use this holiday season. It’s a way for our clients to give back to the Purdue community and for the Center for Healthy Living to give in a way that continues to promote our focus on health and wellness.”

The center is open 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Lab hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For medical assistance after hours or on weekends, contact the Anthem NurseLine at 888-279-5449 for assistance or use LiveHealth Online via the internet from your computer, tablet or mobile device.
