Organizational Effectiveness collecting items for Community Cancer Network

The Organizational Effectiveness unit within Human Resources is holding a donation drive for the Community Cancer Network.

CCN was founded in 2007 by five physicians in Lafayette to help patients in cancer treatment, and their families, access basic unmet needs causing financial stress and hardship in their lives. Their mission is to support nonmedical needs of area cancer patients in collaboration with care providers and other community resources.

Organizational Effectiveness is collecting the following items through Oct. 21:

* Ensure/Boost
* Disinfecting wipes
* Canned fruits/soups
* Canned tuna/chicken
* Dishwasher detergent
* Gatorade
* Cleaning supplies
* Cereal
* Toilet paper (4-packs)
* Breakfast bars
* Paper towels (individually wrapped rolls)
* Pasta/pasta sauces
* Kleenex
* Pudding
* Shampoo/conditioner

CCN's greatest need at the current time is nutritional drinks such as Ensure and Boost, but any and all donations are needed and appreciated. Items may be dropped off with Angie Gutterman in Freehafer Hall. Monetary donations also are accepted, and checks can be made out to Community Cancer Network.
