'Host-A-Boiler' and share the holidays with an international student

For the second year, "Host-A-Boiler" is inviting faculty, staff and community residents to play host for a meal, a family gathering or community event for an international student or students who may not have an opportunity to go home during winter break (Dec. 17-31).

Purdue is home to 9,303 international students who travel to our campus from around the world. For some of those students, heading home for extended academic breaks is not an option. "Host-A-Boiler" pairs host families with students to share a meal, a family gathering, or a community experience.

Faculty, staff and community members who are interested in this experience should go to www.ippu.purdue.edu/HostABoiler/ to learn more about the program and sign up to be a host. The deadline to sign up for winter break is Dec. 8.
