Dear Purdue colleagues,

As University holidays and winter recess approach, we, the combined voices of the Clerical and Service Staff Advisory Committee and the Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee, would like to remind all in the Purdue community that there are many among us who may not be able to travel to visit with family, friends and loved ones during this time.

We encourage each member of the Purdue family to look around them in their departments and areas and, if and when possible, invite a colleague, a grad student or anyone else who may otherwise be away from home to join them for a family dinner; an evening out; or a trip to the bowling alley, skating rink, movie theater or mall.

We are proud that the Purdue community is one of welcome and caring and we appreciate any and every effort to make our colleagues feel more at home any time during the year, but particularly during this holiday season.
