Internal search launched for HR senior director of organizational effectiveness

An internal search has been launched for a new position within Human Resources -- senior director of organizational effectiveness.

The senior director of organizational effectiveness will report to Trent Klingerman, interim vice president for human resources. The senior director will be responsible for leading and setting the strategic vision for a new unit that will merge Business Training and Communications with several Human Resources areas: Workplace Learning and Development, Leadership and Organizational Development, Organizational Change Management and Human Resources Communications. 

Chris Martin, director of business management, will chair the search committee. Committee members are: 

* Ken Sandel, senior director of sponsored program services.
* Kendra Cooks, university comptroller.
* Kim Dixon, assistant director of financial affairs in the College of Engineering and training coordinator for the Business Management cluster consisting of Pharmacy, Engineering, Science, Research and Partnerships, and Discovery Park.
* Pam Nesbitt, director of academic units and employee communication in Human Resources.

Finalists will be asked to present their vision of organizational effectiveness to staff from the merged areas and will interview with the Human Resources leadership team and other key University leaders.
