March 12, 2015

The second "Dishing it up Diabetes Style" workshop will take place from noon to 12:50 p.m. March 25 at the Recreational Sports Center's Demo Kitchen. The workshop offers those who have diabetes or know someone who has diabetes an opportunity to learn how to create tasty, healthy, diabetic-friendly meals.

The workshop led by Ellen Welch, registered dietitian at the Center for Healthy Living (CHL), offers participants the opportunity to enjoy a cooking demonstration and samples of the delicious dishes along with the recipes to use at home. The menu for this workshop is cool ranch chicken quesadillas and dreamsicle fruit salad.

Registration is due by March 20. To register, call 49-45239. Limited seats are available.

CHL workshops are for benefits-eligible faculty and staff and for spouses/same-sex domestic partners covered on a Purdue medical plan. For more information on services offered at the CHL, visit the center online.
