Purdue Bowlermakers to meet Wednesday

The Purdue Bowlermakers women's bowling league will hold an organizational meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 21) in Stewart Center, Room 318.

The membership of the Purdue Bowlermakers is open to any female staff and faculty (current or retired) or student. Female relatives and spouses of Purdue staff, faculty or students also are eligible. Teams have three bowlers per session and can have alternates.

Bowling takes place at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays starting Aug. 28 in Union Rack 'n' Roll at Purdue Memorial Union, and the season consists of 30 weeks. That excludes the weeks of Thanksgiving (Nov. 27), Christmas (Dec. 25) and New Year's Day (Jan. 1). The last night of bowling will be April 9.

Membership (sanction) cost is $18, and weekly dues are $8.25 for each night a player bowls.
